There are lots of 404 entries (page not found), because the requested page is something along the line of &#8220;c:\/winnt\/system32\/cmd.exe&#8221;. Of course, that is not on my server.<br \/>\nPrograms or browsers requesting such non-existing stuff, will be presented with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rare-it.com\/justtypesomethingthatdoesnotexistforsure.html\">this<\/a> page. Real users can accidently request non-existing pages, but virusses SHOULD be treated differently.<\/p>\n<p>So I was looking into creating a more sophisticated 404-page, one that actually detects what the requested page was, and in case of suspicion of a virus, send them an image of &#8220;the finger&#8221;, or something. Or a link to a good anti-virus program of course B)<\/p>\n<p>Searching around the net for some info, I found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plinko.net\/404\/custom.asp\">this<\/a> site. Dedicated to custom 404-pages.
